Why is One Slade focused on teens?
Because teenage skin is different from adult skin. The teenage years are a time of great hormonal and physiological change. We are focused on clean and natural ingredients and we strictly avoid harsh preservatives, perfumes or dyes. The market has countless solutions for adults, but very few that are designed uniquely for teens.
Are One Slade products made specifically for tweens and teens?
One Slade products were formulated with the needs of adolescent skin in mind. That said, we have found that many adults love our products! For example, our deodorant is 100% USDA Certified organic. It can be used by both adolescents and adults alike. Because of the harsh chemical (such as aluminum which has been linked to breast cancer and Alzheimer's ) that are found in conventional deodorants / antiperspirants, many adults have made the switch to One Slade deodorant. Also, our 100% USDA Certified Organic lip balms are a huge hit with people of all ages - from little kids to adults.
What products does One Slade offer?
Currently, One Slade offers organic lip balm, all natural shaving cream, organic deodorant, facial cleanser, moisturizer and mud mask products. There are many more exciting products in our pipeline. Are all of your products organic?
We use organic ingredients whenever possible. Our deodorant is 100% Certified Organic. An asterisk next to an ingredient (all products contain an ingredient list on their label) denotes that it is organic. We also offer organic lip balm in three great flavors. We must use certain preservatives in some of our products both for safety and performance, however we at One Slade pride ourselves in using only the safest preservatives in the smallest quantity needed to get the job done.
Can I buy One Slade in a store near me?
At this time, our products are only available on our website.
Is One Slade a cruelty free company?
One Slade products are all cruelty free. We avoid parabens, phthalates, sulfates, glycols, aluminum, and alcohol.
Where are your products made?

DEODORANT
Do your deodorants really provide protection against odor and wetness?
Yes - One Slade deodorant is extremely effective. Our deodorant neutralizes odor and absorbs wetness without the use of chemicals. We use natural plant powders and essential oils to keep you feeling dry and smelling fresh all day long.
What is the shelf life of your deodorants?
Our deodorants are best if used within 12 months of purchase.
Are your deodorants Certified Organic?
Yes - One Slade all-natural deodorants are certified organic by USDA. We are also certified vegan by Vegan Action and PETA, certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny and PETA, and certified non-gmo by the USDA.
Will your deodorant melt in high temperatures? How do I store it?
One Slade all-natural, organic deodorant should be kept out of direct sunlight as it will heat up and melt at high temps. It is best not to store your deodorant in a car during warm weather. Our deodorant does travel well and will be okay in your dresser, desk drawer, purse, and/or gym bag. As for shipping during extremely hot weather, please give us a heads up and we will provide heat resistant packaging for your order.
Does your deodorant stain clothing?
Because we do not use any chemicals in our deodorant, you will not see the yellow stains that commonly appear on your clothing when using an antiperspirant. These yellow stains are the result of your sweat mixing with aluminum and other chemicals.
Why is the texture of your deodorant different from a traditional deodorant / antiperspirant?
One Slade deodorant is made from 100% natural, edible ingredients with no preservatives. Because of this, your deodorant may feel different from conventional deodorants when you apply it. Just hold the deodorant for about 5-10 seconds on your under arms to soften it with your body heat, then apply. This issue will resolve after a couple of applications.
I am having trouble with the dial. Why is it difficult to twist?
One Slade organic deodorant will stick to the sides of the container when you initially try to dial it. Just squeeze the left side and right side of the top of the container together. That should unstick the product and allow you to dial it up with ease.

Is your mud mask all natural?
Yes - all of the ingredients in our mud mask are natural. Cosmetics that contain water or aloe must also contain preservatives for efficacy and safety. We only use the safest preservatives in the lowest concentration in our products.
What is the shelf life of your mud mask?
Our mud mask is best if used within 12 months of purchase.
How do I store the mud mask?
Our mud mask should be stored in a cool, dry place.
How often should I use the mud mask?
For the best results, you should use our mud mask twice weekly on clean, dry skin.
SHAVE CREAM
Is your shave cream all natural?
Yes - all of the ingredients in our shave cream are natural however cosmetics that contain water or aloe must also contain preservatives for efficacy and safety. We only use the safest preservatives in the lowest concentration in our products. If it is not good for your body, we would not put it on your skin.
What is the shelf life of your shave cream?
Our shave cream is best if used within 12 months of purchase.
How much shave cream is best to use when shaving?
It is best to apply our shaving cream generously to prevent razor burn and nicks when shaving.

Is your shipping free?
One Slade offers free shipping for any customer on the subscription plan and for any individual order that exceeds $25.
When will I receive my order?
Once your product leaves our facility, you should receive it within 5 to 7 business days. You will receive an email with your tracking code when your order ships, and you can check your package’s status by using that code in the shipping vendor’s website.
Can I expedite my order?
Yes - we offer two-day shipping via UPS within the United States for a flat rate of $12.50, regardless of the size of your order. This allows for you to receive your package two business days after it is shipped. Expedited shipping fees are non-refundable.

How do subscriptions work?
Subscriptions are the most compelling way to experience One Slade. We make it very easy for you to set up and manage your subscription. You simply pick the products you would like to receive and how often you would like to receive them. You will be billed once during every delivery cycle.
What are the benefits of having a subscription to One Slade?
There are many perks you receive when you sign up for a subscription to One Slade. First of all, you don’t have to worry about running out of your favorite products. INGREDIENTS
Are your products preservative-free?
One Slade Deodorants contain no preservatives. However, our products that contain water or aloe must contain preservatives for safety reasons. We did extensive research and found the safest preservatives that we could and we use these in the smallest possible concentrations within our products.
What preservatives do you use in your products?
The only preservative that is present in small amounts is in our Midnight Mud Mask. It is called Phenoxyethonal. Phenoxyethonal, when used in skincare products, is almost always synthetic. This chemical occurs naturally in green tea. In short, phenoxyethanol is considered a safe and effective preservative when used in amounts approved for use in leave-on or rinse-off cosmetics products.
What is xantham gum and is it harmful?
Xanthan gum is used to thicken cosmetic formulations and is approved as a gel like thickener in Organic formulations. It is harmless in skin care.
